Your Bio

WELCOME to the home of Red Leash Photography and the photographs of Lauren Kay Blackwell. I try to use my photographs to reflect my faith in God and to share my exploration of the world around me. I am always amazed and encouraged by what I find, often in unusual ways and places.


I am also a life-long pet owner who believes strongly in pet adoption. A portion of every pet photograph I sell is donated to animal shelters and adoption agencies in the San Antonio area. The joy that is found in a beloved pet's eyes is, to me, so difficult to describe in words. I hope you find that my photographs convey what words cannot.
